Digital Spy: Ne-Yo has been detained in Norway after a member of his entourage allegedly assaulted a restaurant employee. More after the jump!
According to Perez Hilton, the R&B star was partying at Emil & Samuel in downtown Oslo, Norway following his performance on Saturday.
Ne-Yo reportedly was not involved in the altercation, where a member of the singer's group reportedly punched a bus boy in the face, leaving him unconscious.
Another person in Ne-Yo's entourage allegedly ran to the kitchen with a knife and began threatening the staff, but reports say that an unknown person was able to calm the assailant down.
Ne-Yo and his entourage left the restaurant and were immediately detained and searched by Norwegian police.
The owner of Emil & Samuel said: "All in all this is an unfortunate situation involving the artist, Emil & Samuel and the concert management."
The staff of the restaurant are reportedly looking to press charges against the singer.
