As the good old fashioned saying goes, no one and I mean no one, remembers second place. Nobody cares how much effort you may have put in and no one cares how close you possibly came; if you don’t actually win and attain victory, it means nothing. When you win, you matter and when you don’t win, you don’t matter- it is that simple.
We can all agree that certain types of clothing aren’t appropriate year-round. We don’t wear mittens during summer and we don’t wear tank tops in the snow. Depending on the weather, certain clothes don’t seem fit and may leave us feeling too hot or too cold.
Our generation can be called the the generation that breaks the rules, the rebels of traditional young adulthood. It is safe to say we have not followed the path of any previous generation and have not really taken much from them as far as life lessons and how we should go about finding success and happiness.
“How can I tell if I’m in love?” is a very common question, despite how ambiguous its answer may be. What feels like love to one person may be nothing more than attraction to another. Some people fall in and out of love quickly and often while others are never really in love as much as they are in lust.
There is quite a difference between living and simply existing in this world. Ignoring the option to live and choosing to merely exist instead refers to putting life on autopilot, playing the hand you were dealt and going through the motions necessary for a stable routine that seems to make each day on this earth as painless as possible.
While out in Atlanta for the LongLiveA$AP Tour Rocky fell through Means St. Studios for an interview with Mr. Thanksgiving. He speaks on how his single “Fuckin’ Problems” came about, having his own tour now, the creativity of his debut album, grabbing a handful of Rih Rih’s cheeks and even shouts out the new comer Trindad James who he feels is inspired by the A$AP movement.
Thanksgiving brings along with it a season that we all cherish. Who doesn’t love Thanksgiving? It’s the only holiday where we truly get to enjoy our time with our loved ones and get to eat so much that we pass out, but wake up just in time to see the Patriots destroying the Jets by 40 this coming Thursday.
People can sit and dream about success everyday of their lives but that doesn’t mean it will just fall out of the sky into their lap out of no where.
It’s the holiday season once again. Time is, of course, flying by as always and many of us are still in shock that the holiday season has already crept up on us.
