Jordan Brand Launches The Air Jordan XX8

Jordan Brand has taken its Air Jordan line back to its Roman Numerals roots, but everything else is progressive to say the least. The look of the Air Jordan XX8 is vastly different from anything seen by Jordan Brand to date. The full-length Zoom Unit is further enhanced by the brand new Jordan Flight Plate. The Flight Plate provides distance between the Zoom Air bags so the already responsive cushioning is increased. The shoe also features Dynamic Fit technology which incorporates straps to secure the foot. The talking point of the Jordan XX8, however, is the stretch synthetic, Schoeller mesh infused exterior shroud. The shroud offers added support and a sleek style that takes the shoe height up to an astonishing eight inches. The shroud also includes a carbon fiber heel counter that keeps the foot locked down during aggressive cuts and lateral movement. When zipped down, the all new Jordan XX8 symbol is revealed on the inner of the shroud.
The Air Jordan XX8 will be available in Houston on Friday, February 15, 2013 during NBA All-Star weekend, and released to other accounts on Saturday, February 16 for $250. With the new look, style, and technology, it’s no wonder why designer Tinker Hatfield likens the Jordan XX8 to a concept car. Head over to Nike Inc. for a video of Hatfield and product developer Josh Heard giving a live description of the shoe. What are your thoughts on the Air Jordan XX8?

Air Jordan 3 "Bright Crimson"

After news of its release date, a closer look at the Air Jordan 3 “Bright Crimson” shows the black base giving way to purple elephant print on the toe cap, lace eyelets, and heel. Vibrant bright crimson coloring coats the inner lining, branding, top and lower three lace eyelets. The color also teams with white on the midsole to enhance the latest addition to the Jordan 3 lineup. The “Bright Crimson” 3 will release at February 23 at select Jordan Brand retailers.

AIR JORDAN 1 MID WHITE/UNIVERSITY BLUE

The Air Jordan 1 Mid remains a popular choice for sneakerheads and skaters alike. Set to release early next year, we get a preview of the model in a White/University Blue. Looking fresh out of a UNC game, the model rocks white leather on the inlays and university blue on the overlays. Tonal stitching keeps things tidy and the old school Air Jordan logo sits in white on the ankle. How do you feel about this colorway on the Air Jordan 1 Mid?

Jordan CP3.VI. 'Sport Red'

“Sport Red” shade drapes the latest makeup of the Jordan CP3.VI. In tune with Clippers colors and designed for Chris Paul’s play, this pair does not yet have a release date. Stay tuned to Nice Kicks for launch details.

Air Jordan 9 “CALVIN BAILEY”

Air Jordan 9 “Calvin Bailey”, the fourth installment of the “Johnny Kilroy” pack, uses university gold coloring on the lining, outsole, and lace eyelets to offset the mostly royal blue sneaker. Paying homage to one of the fictional characters played by Michael Jordan during his retirement in 1993, Calvin Bailey’s name is stitched on the tongue decal in place of MJ’s. Are you copping these on November 10?
