We took a different approach with this week’s Who Rocked It Better?. Two of the hardest working rappers in the game were spotted in similar shoes this week. Wale, a staple in Celebrity Sneaker Stalker, decided to pull out the Nike Air Max Hyperposite “Statue of Liberty” while at a Houston Rockets game. With the weather finally starting to change in Texas, Folarin sported an overcoat with crisp denim, a white tee, and a knitted beanie. As we saw in “Sneak Peek” this week, Jumpoff Joe Budden really enjoys custom kicks. This week, he rocked the Hyperposite-inspired Nike LeBron 9 Elite “Statue of Liberty” custom by Mache. The shoe mimics its Hyperposite counterpart, but is rare to say the least. Joe paired the sneakers with jeans, a black shirt, and hooded vest. Both rappers dropped new music this week, but we want to know Who Rocked It Better? Vote in the poll below and let us know why in the comments and on Twitter.

WALE DEBUTS THE “DOLPHINS” NIKE AIR PENNY 5
Getm0ney247, Tuesday, April 10, 2012
Wale once again has Phil Knight asking questions with the on-foot unveiling of the Nike Air Penny 5. Worn for the first time at last night’s concert at Howard, Everyday LaVan was there to capture the “Dolphin” debut and see the kicks in action. This fresh catch comes as no surprise to most of our readers, as Folarin’s been first a time or two before.
