We all know the saying “you need to fake it until you make it”. But Thomas Elliot took it to a extreme level. Thomas went to a popular mall in Virginia and conducted a bit of a social experiment. Using his real first and middle name, and with the help of just a few staged people, tons of people believed Thomas was a famous actor, including mall security.
You can get people to believe just about anything if you say it with confidence. This guy took stunting to a whole new level.
Chill Hill Media used “Thomas Elliot” to conduct one of the funniest and coolest social experiments ever. Using his actual first and middles names, and a few strategically placed extras, Elliot caused a frenzy in MacArthur Center in Norfolk, Va., by convincing people he was a celebrity. Mall security even fell for the charade.
