Cheetos can bring the worst out of people, and this has never been more evident than this next case, as a 23-year-old woman allegedly attacked her 10-year-old sister until she was unconscious in a conflict over a bag of Cheetos.
When 23-year-old Deby Mejia left her Houston, Texas home, her 10-year-old sister purchased a bag of Cheetos from her neighbor.
Mejia was infuriated when she came home to find her little sister eating the Cheetos, the little girl told police.
Mejia allegedly whipped the girl with an extension cord before dragging the girl by her hair and knocking her unconscious.
Social services became involved when the girl’s teachers noticed multiple bruises on her body and bump on her head.
She told doctors at the hospital that she had been dizzy for several days after the attack.
Mejia was arrested and is now in jail on a $60,000 bond.
She had been looking after the girl since the child’s mother was deported to Honduras in 2006, according to the arrest warrant.
Mejia resents the child being born and does not feel remorse for her actions, according to investigators.
“I just can’t believe she would do stuff like that,” said a neighbor.“I’m telling you, she looks like a nice person.”
There is no word whether the Cheetos were regualar Cheetos or Hot Cheetos. Regardless, it is an absolutely unacceptable attack.
